My process is designed to give you clarity and serve as a clear roadmap to secure your financial future.


It is designed to help you avoid the common and not so common mistakes people make when it comes to important matters that affect your financial life.

After reading everything below you will get an idea of my process and the typical client that I work with. If you feel you would be a good fit for the type of work I do, I'd love to set up a 30 minute free chat so that we can talk further.

This way we can get to know each other a bit and you can ask any questions you have before getting started.

Absolutely not.

I can't help everyone and quite frankly my process and what I do is not the right fit for everyone. So ...

Who Would Not Be A Good Fit?

• If you have no concerns about your money and your investments.

• If you are looking for the next get rich quick scheme and are looking for a way for your money to double overnight.

• If you are looking for a stock broker, you’ve come to the wrong place. I am not a stock broker and I am not here to sell you the so called ‘latest and greatest’ penny stock off the pink sheets.

• If you’re a "Do-It-Yourself" investor and financial planner, my approach probably won’t mesh with your way of doing things. For example, if you want to call me because Jim Cramer said you should go out and “BUY, BUY, BUY XYZ Stock,” then I am not the advisor for you.

If you have the time, the desire, and enjoy keeping up on the markets, geopolitical influences, ever-changing regulations, tax incentives and penalties, risk assessment, if you’ve got the time and patience for all that – and some people do – then you probably don’t need my help.

Who Might Be A Good Fit?

MY PROCESS

STEP 1 - 20 Minute Phone Call

This is will help us both determine if we are a good fit. I’ll be able to determine if your situation matches my expertise. If it doesn’t, I’m happy to refer you to an expert that would be a better fit. 

STEP 2 - Discovery Meeting - Getting To Know Each Other

During our initial meeting, we focus on you. We won’t discuss any financial advice, and no recommendations will be made.

This is just about us getting to know each other better. I'll ask you about your financial concerns and goals going forward. I will also learn where you are now
financially.

At this meeting, you can ask as many questions as you want. I really want you to get a feel for what it would be like to work with me.


If we identify any potential issues that could negatively impact you financially, either now or in the future, we will talk it through.


If any of these issues concern you, and if you would like me to help you with them, we will move on to “Step 3” and schedule a follow-up meeting.

STEP 3 - Building Your Lifetime Income Plan

In this meeting, we will work on building your financial strategy. This will include:

• Retirement Planning
• Advance Tax Planning
• Investment & Risk Management Strategies
• Estate Planning


We’ll also cover any other aspects that might affect your financial future, including the sale of a business, social security benefits, Medicare, and any various retirement accounts you already have in place.


We will also look at unexpected expenses and life events that you may have previously overlooked, such as long-term care, disability protection, and any life insurance needs that may need to be considered.


Above all, it’s all about you: Your plan. Your future. You tell me what you want to accomplish, and I will tell you if I believe that it’s possible, followed by what it’s going to take to get there.

STEP 4 - Ongoing & Proactive Management

As we all know, the only constant in life is change. As your life changes, your plans need to change along with it.

That’s why it’s important that we meet on a regular basis and make adjustments to your financial strategy (as necessary) along the way.


Typically, I like to schedule reviews once or twice per year, depending on the complexity and specifics of your overall financial plan.


However, I also recommend and encourage scheduling a review whenever a major life event occurs. All my clients receive unlimited phone and email support, so if you have any questions or thoughts you want to run by me, you always have an open door.

HOW DO I COMMUNICATE WITH MY CLIENTS?

I communicate by phone, email, through web-based technology, and face-to-face. It is your preference.

My office is located in Huntington Beach, CA. However, I work with clients across the country. I have embraced technology that allows me to work with you from the comfort of your living room.

If you are local and are the type that prefers to meet face-to-face we can meet in my office. However, if you are not local, or you just prefer not to fight traffic, we can use video conferencing and screen share software.

Before I embraced using the technology that allows me to work remotely with clients, I didn’t know if it would really work. Traditionally, a meeting with a financial advisor was always face-to-face. 

However, I have found that video conferencing works just as well as meeting face-to-face. I believe in the near future virtual meetings such as this will be more and more common, especially as technology continues to improve. 

Again, it’s your preference if you prefer to meet in my office in Huntington Beach or meet virtually. I want to make interacting with me easy and convenient.

I encourage my clients to call or email me anytime. If I am not available right away, I usually will get back to you by end of the day, but at the latest, by the beginning of the next day.

I also have made the option through my online scheduling system for you to schedule a call with me. This is best if you want to schedule a specific time.


I have found this also nice because it eliminates the need for us to play phone tag with each other.
